Watch this recording from May 2025 to learn how suppliers engage with Open Supply Hub.
Description: Did you know that Open Supply Hub has a specific workflow for those who own or manage production locations to take ownership of their data?
Following a validation of identity and connection to the location in question, they can then confirm critical basic information (like location, parent company, etc) and add additional data points that only they are able to share (like native language name, contact information, certifications, and more). This process is called “claiming a profile.”
For location owners & management, it allows them to ensure their OS Hub listing is accurate, get free, global visibility, and reduce information sharing fatigue by sending customers and service providers to one open profile for all of their basic information.
For those who work with these locations, like customers, service providers, and civil society, they get access to data they know has come straight from the source, and can be easily pulled from OS Hub via search, download, or API.
As of May 2025, over 1600 locations have already claimed their profiles and companies around the world are adopting this workflow: whether making it a requirement as part of supplier onboarding or to achieve a certain certification or status.
Watch this 30-minute session to learn more about how it works and how you might incorporate it into your organization.
