March 22, 2025 Release Notes

Updates and new features are regularly developed and released on Open Supply Hub, often based on feedback from users like you. Read what was included in the most recently released set of changes.

Here’s what you can expect from the most recent updates to Open Supply Hub:

Interaction Updates:

New workflow for adding and claiming an individual production location (facility):

  • Open Supply Hub has launched a new feature, internally known as Single Location Contribution (SLC), which simplifies the process of submitting data for contributors with a small number of production locations.
  • Contributors can now submit information about their production location directly via a form on the OS Hub website eliminating the need to create and upload spreadsheets for a small number of locations.
  • The form is designed to accept one location per submission, making data submission easier and more accessible for smaller-scale contributors.
  • In the same workflow, contributors will also be able to submit a claim for the production location, streamlining the process for managers of production locations who want to list and manage their profile on OS Hub. If an OS ID already exists on OS Hub, the contributor will be able to immediately proceed to claim. If the OS ID does not yet exist, the contributor will receive an email informing them they can proceed with the claim once the OS ID is created (this could take up to 15 business days).
  • Contributors will also be able to submit updates to production location information, such as name and addresses, directly through the SLC form without the need to upload a spreadsheet.
  • For contributors with larger datasets, bulk uploads via spreadsheets are still available.
  • Single location contribution is only accessible to registered users on Open Supply Hub. Please create a free account if you're interested in accessing this feature.

Detailed instructions for the new workflow can be found in this guide.

Data Cleaning Service:

For contributors with large datasets, OS Hub offers a data cleaning service to clean, format and standardize supply chain data for contributors, so it can be uploaded to OS Hub or shared with other platforms or stakeholders.

A new dedicated page for this service has been created here.

New features and updates like these are often built based on feedback from OS Hub users. If you have any questions about these updates or would like to make a suggestion for future improvements, please contact us.
