Updates and new features are regularly developed and released on Open Supply Hub, often based on feedback from users like you. Read what was included in the most recently released set of changes.
Here’s what you can expect from the most recent updates to Open Supply Hub:
Interaction Improvements:
- Password Visibility at Login - We've made a small update to allow users to view their password characters while logging in. We expect this to help in avoiding login issues and ensure that users are entering the correct password while logging into their OS Hub account.
Resolved Bugs -
- Number of Workers Search - There was an issue where a user could search by a specific range for number of workers, but some of the profiles returned in the search results did not meet the search criteria. This was the result of there being different sources that populated the search dropdown and the profile values. This issue has been resolved by consolidating the source that populates the search options and the number of workers values that display on the profile.
- Extra Product Type Field on Claim Edit Screen - Users with claimed production locations are able to update certain information that displays on their claimed profiles. For example, they can add a description of their production location's capabilities, list minimum order quantities and expected lead time in additional to the standard OS Hub data points, like number of workers, product type, sector, etc. There was an issue where two separate fields called "product type" were listed on the claim editing page, with one of them effectively being non-operational. This extra field has been removed so that it is clear where to add product type information.
- Error Message Display - There are several types of errors that a user could encounter when attempting to upload a list; for example: the file they have selected to upload is larger than 5 MB, their list name contains invalid characters, or they are attempting to replace an already-replaced list. Each of these error conditions has an associated message that clearly explains the cause of the issue and how the user can correct it. An issue that caused only a red icon to display without the error message was addressed so that users see a clear error message whenever an error condition is encountered.
