Updates and new features are regularly developed and released on Open Supply Hub, often based on feedback from users like you. Read what was included in the most recently released set of changes.
Here’s what you can expect from the most recent updates to Open Supply Hub:
Refactoring, Automation, and Architecture Changes:
- Data Uploading: With this release, we have increased the number of locations that can be uploaded in a single Excel or CSV file to 10,000. Previously, a timeout in the parsing phase of the list upload workflow resulted in an issue where a list would either not be uploaded in its entirety or would cause an error. This timeout issue has been addressed by separating the parsing phase from the initial upload phase.
- Propagating production location updates to OpenSearch database: With this release, we are making another incremental step in the introduction of more robust and flexible search features supported by the new API endpoint v1/production-locations. Indexing functionality that pushes all updates related to production locations to the OpenSearch database is included with this release. For example, if a new location is added, data is moderated or a change in claimed status of a profile is made, this information will be readily reflected in the OpenSearch database. Once the v1/production-locations endpoint is integrated on the front-end, indexing will happen every 15 min.
