Updates and new features are regularly developed and released on Open Supply Hub, often based on feedback from users like you. Read what was included in the most recently released set of changes.
Here’s what you can expect from the most recent updates to Open Supply Hub:
Refactoring, Automation, and Architecture Changes:
OS Hub is in the process of developing the /v1/production-locations endpoint, which will support GET and POST calls for downloading data and uploading production locations to OS Hub as well as provide expanded search functionality. Eventually, this endpoint is meant to replace the /facilities endpoint, which currently supports API upload and download use cases as well as OS Hub’s front-end search experience. Initially, the v1/production-locations endpoint and expanded search functionality will be available to API users only, with integration on OS Hub's front-end to follow.
Included in this release:
- We have released the POST /v1/production-locations endpoint.
- This new endpoint streamlines the submission and processing of location data, ensuring consistency whether it's done through the platform or other tools. It includes enhancements like tracking submission statuses and accurately storing coordinates.
- Get preliminary documentation on this endpoint. All endpoints in the Beta section are accessible for testing. Be aware that these endpoints are still under development and should not yet be used to build production applications.
Interaction Updates:
Introduced limit to the 'page' parameter of the GET /api/facilities/ endpoint: We have implemented a 100-page limit to the GET /api/facilities/ endpoint to to enhance system stability and prevent potential outages.
- Requests with the 'page' parameter set to a value greater than 100 will now return the following error message: ” This value must be less or equal to 100. If you need access to more data, please contact support@opensupplyhub.org.“
