About Open Supply Hub

Open Supply Hub, a US-based global nonprofit, is powering the transition to safe and sustainable supply chains through open data. With our users, we’ve mapped millions of production locations around the world, showing where global production is happening and who is connected to each location. We make that data easy for anyone to work with, opening the door to new solutions, targeted investment, and more effective collaborations. Our vision is to transform supply chain ecosystems for the 100+ million people working in them by mapping 40-million sites globally.

We are a small but agile team empowered to make decisions. We celebrate achievements while providing an environment for mistakes, learning and growth. Our focus on openness and accessibility in our external work and partners starts from how we work together within our team.

About the role

OS Hub, a US-based global nonprofit, is seeking an Account Manager (Producers & Trade Associations), engaged on an independent contract basis, to build and manage OS Hub's relationships with suppliers, producers, and the trade associations they belong to. This person will be OS Hub's primary relationship holder and advocate for this stakeholder group, balancing hands-on account management with a strategic voice in how supplier needs shape OS Hub's product, governance, and next 3-year strategy. We are looking for someone who likes a wide variety of responsibilities, enjoys collaborating closely across the organization, and is energized by both relationship-building and revenue growth.

Though our organization is remote, this position must reside in the following countries: India, Türkiye, Vietnam or Indonesia.  The candidate should have the flexibility to work across global time zones to collaborate with OS Hub's fully remote, globally distributed team. Specific working hours will be established with the successful candidate. The role will occasionally require international travel for listening tours and related events.

The Account Manager contract is managed by the Sr. Director of Programs, and serves as the organization's primary point of contact for producers, suppliers, and trade associations, partnering closely with the Account Manager (Industry), Product & Engineering, Data, and Sales teams. A successful candidate will be able to balance a hands-on portfolio of account relationships with big-picture strategic thinking, and will be comfortable carrying revenue-generating targets alongside relationship and advocacy work.

What you'll do

Adoption Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Develop and execute plans to grow adoption of OS Hub and the OS ID among producers and trade associations, tracked through the number of claimed OS IDs, fully completed claimed profiles, and facility/trade association contributors
  • Serve as the primary relationship holder for OS Hub's key producer and trade association stakeholders, tracking engagement and impact over time
  • Monitor adoption and usage across your portfolio, proactively addressing underutilization and churn risk

Onboarding, Support & Resources

  • Onboard new paying trade association contributors and support their transition onto the platform
  • Maintain external-facing resources and case studies for producers and trade associations, and manage escalated support cases in partnership with the Stakeholder Support Manager

Revenue Growth & Product Feedback

  • Carry revenue-generating targets: identify, develop, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities for premium features within your portfolio, and contribute to developing new premium solutions for this stakeholder group, measured against premium feature sales and revenue targets
  • Lead structured listening and engagement efforts with priority producers, suppliers, and trade associations, and translate their feedback into recommendations for OS Hub's product roadmap and strategy, evidenced by producer/supplier-reported value from engagement efforts and qualitative evidence of OS ID use with their customers

What you bring

Note: Diverse candidates often self eliminate. We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, with direct knowledge of and experience working with factories, suppliers, and/or trade associations, and the issues that most directly affect them
  • Comfortable representing an organization externally, including in stakeholder meetings and convenings
  • Track record synthesizing stakeholder feedback into actionable recommendations for product or strategy teams
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable partnering with teams like Product, Engineering, Data, and Sales
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the flexibility to work across global time zones
  • Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Google Suite (or similar), Slack (or similar), Monday (or similar), and video conferencing apps
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally (as aligned with strategy) to engage with priority stakeholders

It's a bonus if you also have

  • Experience in account management, customer success, or business development, or a compliance/auditing background that builds the same kind of direct stakeholder relationships
  • Experience in a startup, social enterprise, or nonprofit environment
