OS Hub Spotlight Packages

Open data enriched by a partner ecosystem

Open Supply Hub is the platform thousands of professionals use every month to evaluate production facilities across 225 countries and geographies, and it now comes with OS Hub Spotlight. Here’s how to become a contributor.

OS Hub Spotlight is the network that puts third-party data — assessments & audits, certifications, emissions & energy use, living wage data, grievance mechanisms, and more — directly on the profiles they're already reviewing. Contribute your data and reach a high-intent audience. Plus, get your records back cleaned and OS ID-anchored. Choose between two packages to become a contributing partner:

  • Spotlight CSV Package
  • Spotlight API Package

Be present where sourcing and compliance decisions are made.

Every month, thousands of visitors use Open Supply Hub to evaluate production locations – pulling supplier lists, checking assessment status, screening facilities for active monitoring programs. OS Hub Spotlight is the network that puts your organization's data into that workflow: visible on applicable production location profiles, attributed to your organization, and delivered into the working datasets of the professionals who act on it.

Contributing to OS Hub Spotlight means your supply chain data is present at the moment a compliance lead is reviewing a production location within your data coverage – not discovered later through a separate search, but there in the same place they're already looking.

  • A high-intent, high-quality audience: Thousands of active research sessions per month, and thousands of downloads per session, conducted by visitors viewing multiple production location profiles per visit and spending over a minute on each. These are professionals using OS Hub as a working tool, not casual browsers.
  • Your data, returned standardized and OS ID-anchored: OS Hub's algorithm processes your production location records, assigns OS IDs to each, and returns your data deduplicated and standardized, ready to use across your own systems, reporting frameworks, and partner workflows.
  • Recognition across the Open Supply Hub network: Your organization is named and linked on every applicable production location profile. Users spend an average of over 4 minutes per session on the platform, meaning the profiles where your data appears are more likely to be read and evaluated, not skimmed. As OS Hub's audience expands, every new organization that contributes and utilizes the platform is another organization whose workflow is linked to your data.

Who Spotlight Packages Are For

OS Hub Spotlight is for organizations who want more exposure for their data to the people who will benefit from it the most, and who want a direct path to accessing it.

You're a good fit if your organization:

  • Has data collected either at a facility or regional level such as risk assessments, energy source availability, living or minimum wage, state-based grievance mechanisms, and more.

  • Produces supply chain data in social, environmental, or assessment categories such as (but not limited to): emissions & energy usage, assessments & audits, certifications, living wage, grievance mechanisms, chemicals, climate change risk, collective bargaining agreements, the circular economy, and more.

  • Has organizational interest in being present in the workflow where compliance, due diligence, and sourcing professionals evaluate facilities in your coverage areas

  • Is looking for ways to automatically improve data quality, standardization, and interoperability for basic production location details

Two packages. The same organizational recognition.

Choose based on your organization’s capabilities and how often your data updates.

Spotlight CSV Package

Best for organizations with annual or semi-annual data updates and no API integration requirement.

Upload your data via a CSV spreadsheet. Our data team standardizes and matches your records against the OS Hub database, assigns OS IDs, and returns your data ready to use. Your data appears on applicable production location profiles attributed to your organization.

Included:

  • Spreadsheet contribution path with guided onboarding

  • Your standardized, OS-ID-anchored data returned for re-download

  • Attribution on applicable production location profiles

  • Contributor profile, partner badge, logo placement, and quarterly cohort announcements

  • Basic click-through reporting

  • Standard support

Pricing: Based on location count and organization profile. Annual subscription starting at $3,000/year with discounts available for non-profits and qualifying organizations.

Spotlight API Package

Best for organizations with more frequent data updates and API integration capability.

Push your data to OS Hub via API. Our matching algorithm standardizes your records, assigns OS IDs, and returns your cleaned data back into your own systems programmatically. Your data on OS Hub stays current as you push new records.

Included:

  • Bidirectional API access (push and pull, 1:1 ratio for your data)

  • Your standardized, OS ID-anchored records returned programmatically in near real-time

  • Attribution on matched production location profiles, updated continuously as you push new data

  • Contributor profile, partner badge, logo placement, and quarterly cohort announcements

  • Basic click-through reporting

  • Dedicated technical and IT support

Pricing: Based on location count and organization profile. Annual subscription starting at $5,000/year with discounts available for non-profits and qualifying organizations.

Not sure which to choose? If your data updates annually or semi-annually and you don't have the technical resources for an API, start with CSV. If your data changes frequently (assessments lapse, emissions estimates update, certifications expire) the API path is the most efficient way to keep your data current. Either way, talk to our team first and we'll help you find the right starting point.

Both Spotlight packages include the same recognition and data quality benefits.

The difference between CSV and API is your contribution method.

Data attribution on production location profiles. Your organization's name appears alongside your data on every applicable production location profile in the OS Hub database with a click-through to your contributor profile.

Contributor profile on Open Supply Hub. A profile page with your organization's name, description, and a link to your website or platform, accessible to the thousands of monthly active users navigating OS Hub.

Your contributed data returned to you, standardized, matched, and OS ID-anchored. Every production location record you contribute comes back to you deduplicated, standardized, and assigned an OS ID, ready to use across your own systems, reporting frameworks, and partner integrations.

Logo placement on the OS Hub Spotlight Partners page.

Click-through reporting. Track how often users click through from a production location profile page to your contributor profile, dataset or website.

Partner cohort announcements. New partners are featured in regular OS Hub communications reaching our full audience of brands, service providers, and supply chain professionals.

Permission to use the OS Hub Partner badge. Use the official OS Hub Partner designation in your own external materials, proposals, and partner communications.

Guided onboarding from the OS Hub data team. We work with you on contribution formatting, data quality, and data cleaning before it goes live.

How Package Pricing Works

Pricing is based on your contribution method, the number of production locations your data covers, and your organization's profile — structured so the program is accessible across organization types and sizes.

CSV packages start at $3,000/year. API packages start at $5,000/year. From there, pricing scales with location volume. We'll walk you through where your organization lands before you commit to anything.

Qualifying nonprofits and organizations can contribute via CSV at no cost, with API access available either for free or at a discount. See if you qualify.

Easy Steps To Become A Spotlight Partner

  • Step 1: Talk to our team. We'll discuss your data (what it covers, how it's structured, how often it updates) and help you decide which package makes sense. You'll know what to expect before you commit.
  • Step 2: Onboarding. You submit your data via CSV or API. Our data team standardizes and adds or matches your records against the OS Hub database. We return your records to you ready to use with OS IDs.
  • Step 3: Go live on OS Hub. Your data appears on applicable production location profiles, attributed to your organization, with a link back to your contributor profile. Your organization appears in OS Hub's partner communications and on the Partners page.

Why Organizations Join OS Hub Spotlight

Hear directly from the partners who chose to put their data where compliance and sourcing decisions are being made.

As a global, cross-sector coalition, we understand the need for collaboration to enable data-driven emissions reductions work. The same goes for supply chain accountability. Open Supply Hub features our data alongside other mission-driven organizations so that brands get the full picture of a facility’s activities. Joining forces with Open Supply Hub has allowed us both to expand our offerings, which is another testament to the power of working as a collective.

Christy Lewis, Product Director, Climate TRACE

Open Supply Hub is built on a principle we share: supply chain data should be accessible, standardized, and connected to the real world. Our county-level living wage data is designed to help U.S. employers benchmark pay against what workers actually need. Partnering with OS Hub means that data now lives where sourcing, compliance, and sustainability teams can transparently discover it alongside other critical environmental and social indicators — and actually put it to work.

Sara Horowitz, Co-Founder & CEO | Living Wage Institute

Behind every facility profile on Open Supply Hub are the people doing the real work of impact improvement — environmental managers walking the factory floor, tracking water and energy use, building the case for investment in innovation. On the other side are brand teams trying to make better sourcing decisions with the time they have. Spotlight honors both. By bringing Worldly data onto the OS Hub platform, we’re giving the people doing the measurement real recognition, and their brand partners a faster path to the intelligence they need to act with confidence.

James Schaffer, Chief Strategy Officer, Worldly

Frequently Asked Questions

The entire supply chain community benefits from your data, and you benefit from the platform. What you're paying for isn't the contribution itself. It's distribution, data quality infrastructure, and platform presence. Your data reaches compliance and sourcing professionals inside the tool they're actively using, attributed to your organization, at the moment they're making decisions about facilities you've assessed or certified. That's a distribution channel that would otherwise require significant direct marketing investment to replicate.

Absolutely. As an example, we have partners whose data is presented at a country or regional level and applies to all production locations within that area. Contact our team to discuss the type of data you have and how it might fit into the platform.

That's one of the reasons many organizations join. The OS Hub matching and cleaning infrastructure resolves naming inconsistencies, deduplicates records, and standardizes formatting. Then, that standardized, OS ID-anchored data comes back to you. If your production location database would benefit from more substantial work before it can be matched, our team will scope that as part of the onboarding conversation.

The API path is strongly recommended for data that updates more frequently than semi-annually, because it keeps your production location profiles on OS Hub current without manual resubmission. If assessment statuses change, certifications lapse, or emissions estimates update, a CSV contribution from three months ago will show stale data on production location profiles. The API keeps it live. If you have API capability, use it for frequently updating data.

Thousands of professionals use OS Hub every month as a working tool, with thousands of production location downloads per session. Users view nearly 6 production location profiles per visit and spend over a minute evaluating each one. These are analysts pulling supplier lists and building sourcing shortlists — not casual browsers. When your data applies to a production location they're evaluating, it appears in that workflow attributed to your organization.

The OS Hub Spotlight network includes multiple data categories and will continue to grow. Some examples include facility-level operational intelligence (such as emissions estimates), program presence data (third-party assessments and audits at facility level), standards and certifications (facility-level certification status), and benchmarks and contextual data (country or region-level labor data, such as living wage). If you're unsure whether your data qualifies, contact us and we'll tell you quickly.

Your data is visible to all Open Supply Hub users at the production location profile level, which means anyone searching opensupplyhub.org can see your data on individual production location profiles. It is also available at scale to paid subscribers via API or data downloads.

Your organization's name appears alongside your data on every applicable production location profile – named and linked, with a click-through to your Spotlight Partner profile or directly to your website. You will also be listed on the Spotlight Partners page and in regular partner communications. Attribution is a core part of what Spotlight delivers.

Partners will manually receive regular click-through reporting (how often users click from your production location profile data through to your partner profile, and to your website/platform). We'll continue to build out additional analytics and reporting capabilities by collaborating with our partners to determine what would be most useful and helpful.

Yes. Contributing organizations receive permission to use the OS Hub Spotlight partner designation in their own external communications, website, proposals, and partner materials, as well as an official OS Hub Spotlight Partner badge.

For specific contract terms, data licensing scope, and any questions about data sharing agreements, contact our team and we'll walk you through the specifics.

Pricing takes organizational type into account, and smaller organizations and nonprofits may qualify for a free or discounted rate. The exact figure depends on your coverage and data category. Talk to our team and we'll walk you through what Spotlight looks like for your organization.
