OS Hub, a US-based global nonprofit, is seeking a full-time Senior Product Manager to oversee the development and delivery of the Open Supply Hub product. The Senior Product Manager will be the hands-on leader responsible for a B2B SaaS Product within the context of a rapidly expanding global nonprofit. We are a small but agile team looking for someone who likes a wide variety of responsibilities, enjoys collaborating closely across the organization, and is looking to apply their technical knowledge for impact.
Job Description
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role is a partner in the product development of the OS Hub platform providing product management expertise along with user centered design, system thinking and analysis, and general product/technical collaboration with the leadership team, stakeholder engagement team, and OS Hub’s software development team. We are a small team, and generalist abilities as well as complementary expertise to the rest of the team, are key for success in this role.
This role will serve as the product development expertise in the OS Hub programs group, which consists of Data, Product Management, and Stakeholder Engagement. A successful candidate will be able to balance both the overall product vision with hands-on work.
Responsibilities
New Product Discovery 20%
Define, refine and validate ideas for product development; document product requirements in epics/user stories
Scope and test potential new features through both qualitative and quantitative feedback
Create a shared understanding of the product vision with internal and external stakeholders
Ongoing Product Development 40%
Be adept at scoping product requirements in a way that delivers incremental value while while setting up opportunities for long-term impact/growth
Prioritize OS Hub’s development backlog and maintain a roadmap that can be communicated to internal and external stakeholders
Represent the user’s perspective in decision making conversations and illuminate trade-offs / impacts to the customer under different scenarios
Participate in agile rituals such as stand-ups, retrospectives, planning and demos
Communicate about product releases and coordinate necessary content to support new features with Engineering and Customer Success teams
In-Life Product Support 20%
Collaborate with OS Hub’s Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure that OS Hub’s open data platform and premium products are solving challenges and providing value to our users
Work with customers to integrate OS Hub’s data / APIs into their platforms; gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve product support
General Project/Operations Collaboration 20%
Lead content creation to support quarterly and annual planning with input from OS Hub’s CTO, as well as other internal stakeholders
Manage relationship with outsourced technical partner
Work with data partners to scope integration opportunities
Contribute to grant and sales proposals as needed
Support hiring and mentorship of additional roles as OS Hub grows

The Ideal Candidate
5-7 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a product management role
Experience developing new freemium offerings within an existing B2B SaaS platform
Have worked as part of a team to find product market fit with an existing product
Previously have worked as a sole product manager within a small organization
Partnered with contract software development firms to deliver on product goals
Worked as part of agile development team
2+ years of experience working remotely
Experience in a startup or social enterprise, a plus

This full-time position offers a base salary range of $100,000 to $115,000 annually, commensurate on experience and location.

Location
While this position is remote, due to the location of the team and responsibilities of the role, we ask that the employee reside in and be eligible to work in the United States. The employee must be able to interact regularly with team members and customers in Europe and around the globe.
The position is remote, but we ask that the employee be available regularly between 14:00 and 18:00 UTC. Stand-ups and other rituals such as demos start at 16:00 UTC Monday - Thursday. To work a “typical” 9-5 workday, a candidate would need to be based in the Eastern part of the Americas, but there is some flexibility for alternative work schedules.

Evaluation Stages
1st Interview: This is a 30-minute interview with OS Hub's CTO & Sr. Operations Manager. The first five minutes will be introductions, the following 20 minutes will focus on the candidate's past experiences and skill set, and the remaining time will be an opportunity for the candidate to ask and answer any questions about the opportunity and/or organization.
2nd Interview: This is a 45 minute interview with OS Hub's Stakeholder Engagement Director & Sales Director. The first ten minutes will be introductions and a brief overview of the role and team dynamics. The following 30 minutes will focus on the candidate's technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and past project experiences. The remaining time will be allocated for the candidate to ask questions about the team, projects, and company culture.
3rd Interview: This is a 60 minute interview with OS Hub's Technical Provider Speed & Function & Data Team Manager. The first five minutes will be introductions. The following 45 minutes will focus on the candidate's collaboration and product management skills in working with engineers. Remaining time will be for the candidates to ask any questions.
- Project: Finalists will receive a small project that will take less than two hours that will provide an opportunity to showcase the candidate’s product strategy and vision skills.
*A note on the timeline: OS Hub takes a two week break at the end of each year. The project and final interview is expected to occur after this period.
4th Interview: This is a 45-minute interview with OS Hub’s CEO & CTO. Prior to the interview, candidates will be required to submit their project for review. The first 15 minutes will focus on follow-up questions related to the project. The next 20 minutes will cover any remaining technical and cultural questions, and the final allotted time will be reserved for the candidate to ask any questions about the role or organization.
