Updates and new features are regularly developed and released on Open Supply Hub, often based on feedback from users like you. Read what was included in the most recently released set of changes.
Here’s what you can expect from the most recent updates to Open Supply Hub:
Improved internal moderation process for single location submissions
- As part of the newly launched workflow that allows users to submit data for one production location at a time, the OS Hub Team will now review each submission for data quality and formatting.
- With this release, we’ve enhanced and streamlined the moderation process to support faster review times and potentially improve service level agreements (SLAs). This ensures higher data integrity while enabling quicker onboarding of submitted information.
- Detailed instructions for using the new workflow can be found in this this guide.
Support for additional identifiers beyond OS ID
- We’ve expanded the OS Hub data model to support additional identifiers, such as DUNS and LEI, in preparation for future scalability and integration needs.
- While no new identifiers are being actively used yet, this foundational work enables us to scale data capabilities and opens the door for broader partnership opportunities.
- These identifiers can be toggled on or off via feature flags, and several endpoints in the new API have been updated to include these fields in their responses.
Improved website security
- We’ve addressed several vulnerabilities identified during a recent penetration test. These improvements strengthen the overall security posture of the OS Hub platform, ensuring continued protection for our users, stakeholders, and internal operations.
New features and updates like these are often built based on feedback from OS Hub users. If you have any questions about these updates or would like to make a suggestion for future improvements, please contact us.
